Grand Prix Events
Grand Prix is indeed the grandest competition in the world of motor racing. This motorsport is also equally known as the Formula One (F1) Racing. All the teams in Grand Prix are based in the Europe, so the said continent is tagged as the sport’s traditional centre. Even half of the races are happening in Europe. It is also said to be the world’s most expensive sport, considering its popularity and high profile. This competition is a showdown of speed, wit, strategies, and a little knowledge and application of physics, perhaps. The competition is also governed by the body called Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile, or FIA.
Every race is watched by millions of fans worldwide. The most recent is the 2008 Formula One season, which is the 59th of its series. It kicked off last March 16 of this year and will be officially culminated on November 2. In this event, there are seven (7) teams competing. There are already results and standings of this competition. Another thing is that like this one, Grand Prix events of the next four years will also be hosted by Singapore again. There are also major team changes so you have to be updated. Others are not yet done with their events so you still have something, in fact so many of them, that you can watch.
